Troop Leader/Volunteer meetings

 

Monthly meetings are held at Saints Martha & Mary Episcopal Church (4180 Lexington Ave, Eagan) from 7:00-8:15pm.

 

Each troop should have a representative present to get materials and information. Childcare provided at no cost.

Early Bird Registration

Early Bird Registration is an easy way for girls and volunteers to get a head start on the new membership year (and get in on some awesome perks).  Girl Scout members who renew during May 1-June 30 will receive the 2017 Early Bird patch and a shop punch card for 15% off any item purchased in the store on 12 separate visits between July 2016-June 2017.  Troop leaders may renew girl members and adult volunteers now at www.girlscoutsrv.org/join-us/renew.

Home Alone Class

Learn information that will help girls and boys age 8+ feel comfortable and safe when they’re home alone including contact lists, first-aid and emergencies, household safety, healthy snacks, boredom busters and much more! Course fee of $25 must be submitted with registration form by Wednesday, May 11.  Questions may be directed to Doreen Gloede at dgloede@comcast.net.

Babysitting Course

Girls Cookout Adult Training

Adults will learn essential outdoor cooking skills including fire building methods, charcoal and camp stove cooking, outdoor dishwashing and sanitation methods as covered in safety activity checkpoints, basic knots, and jackknife safety. Service Unit Bridging & Court of Awards Ceremony

all age level troops, Juliettes and individuals are welcome and encouraged to participate in a Bridging Ceremony or a Court of Awards Ceremony or both.  Join us even if you held or will be holding a troop or school-wide celebration - share your experiences, stories and adventures with other Eagan Girl Scouts.  The park will be open to Girl Scouts and their families beginning at 5:15 for those wanting to have a troop picnic or practice their ceremony ahead of time.  Attached is an invitation and information about Bridging and Court of Awards Ceremonies.  RSVP by Sunday, May 29 to dgloede@comcast.net.

Otter’s Day Camp - Under the Sea

Girls and boys entering 1st-6th grade are invited to come make a splash this summer and dive into a great week under the sea. Includes 4 days with a Thursday overnight. Interactive programs will be led by the DNR, Dodge Nature Center, and more. Discover the wonders of the sea through games, crafts, water fun, and many other Under the Sea themed activities. Volunteers and Caddies are also needed. Registration due May 1st.
