GET TRAINED

 

   New Leaders

ž Fast Start (required for at least one troop leader, recommended for all volunteers) contact Cathy Mohs (cathym28@comcast.net, 651-454-1754) to set up a training time.

ž Leadership Essentials (required for at least one troop leader, recommended for all volunteers)

ž First Aid and CPR—appropriate age level (certification required to be held by at least one volunteer each time troop gathers)

 

   Beyond the Troop (Outdoor and Travel)

ž Girls Sleep In (indoor overnights)

ž Girls Sleep Out (outdoor overnights)

ž Girls Cook In (kitchen appliances)

ž Girls Cook Out (campfire, propane stove, grills)

ž Camping Out (combination of Girls Sleep In and Out, Girls Cook In and Out)

ž Girl Travel-US (3+ nights and considerable distance from your service center)

Volunteer with Girl Scouts!

There are many ways to volunteer with Girl Scouts, including troop leader, which is one of the most recognizable volunteer positions within Girl Scouting or one of any dozen of positions that best fits your time and skills. Girl Scouts welcomes adults ages 18 and older - including both men and women - for a variety of volunteer opportunities. Consider what talents you have to share.

GET STARTED All volunteers must complete the following:

ž Register as an adult Girl Scout —complete the adult registration form and pay the $12 membership fee

ž Complete a confidential online background check

ž Complete GSUSA’s Online Orientation
