NEW TROOP NUMBER INFORMATION

All current troop numbers will stay intact under the new troop numbering system, but all troops will now have a unique five-digit troop number. To do this, each service center will add an identifying prefix to current troop numbers and add zeros (if necessary) to make a five-digit troop number.

For Dakota Service Unit the additional prefix is “5”

Example:

Troop 12 is now 50012

Troop 345 is now 50345

Troop 6789 is now 56789

Each girl who was registered for 2006-07 and is now registered for 2007-08 can receive a “5” numeral and as many “0”s as is needed.  You can have either brown or green whatever is needed for the 2007-08 year.

In addition – new council id strips are also available for girls who were registered in 2006-07 and who have reregistered for 2007-08.
